Collection contains pastoral Spanish folk songs of the upper Rio Grande Valley; recorded version and printed text to 1967 publication titled: Canciones del pasado, Spanish folk songs of the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado; collected by Ruth Marie Colville; performed in Spanish by Singers of the Canciones del Pasado and The Challengers Orchestra; translations in English.
