Chris Chandler oral history
The interview provides information and personal observations about Chandler's father, Linwood Chandler and his service with the 1st Mountain Infantry. Chris Chandler then discusses his own military training, being deployed to Guantanamo, Cuba during Haitian unrest, his unit's replacement for the 122nd Infantry Regiment in Mogadishu, Somalia. He describes the ambushes, missions, and actions he participated in, as well as the rules of engagement.
