Biographical / Historical

Grace Hale Jordan was born in Denver, Colorado August 11, 1918, attended Manual High School and graduated from the University of Denver in 1940, majoring in education. She married George R. Jordan in 1952 and traveled extensively with her husband who was a consultant engineer with the U.S. Department of State, Agency for International Development. They lived abroad from December 1954 to December 1971 in Trinidad, Ghana, Korea, Ecuador, and Thailand. Her work experiences range from teaching fourth grade to health education and family planning.
