Biographical / Historical

Landri Taylor was the District 4 representative on the Denver Board of Education in Colorado. He was first appointed to the board in March 2013 and he served until his resignation in February 2016. Taylor earned a B.A. in Biology from the University of California-Berkeley. He is the president and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan Denver. Taylor has previously served on the boards for Rocky Mountain P.B.S., Denver Big Picture Charter High School and First City Stapleton, Inc. He was also the chairman of the Denver Democratic Party from 1997 to 1999. Taylor and his wife, Gloria, have three adult children.
