Black History Collection
The collection contains biographies, posters, photographs, and a calendar highlighting historical Black figures in American history that were produced by Black American publishers, including the Afro-Am Publishing Company (Chicago, Illinois), between 1969 and 1996. The collection consists primarily of photographs and short biographies pasted onto poster boards.
Black Studies Resources
One box containing slides and an annotated inventory about African American history. The set was created by William Loren Katz and published in 1970. The 465 slides depict major elements of black history in America from the early 16th century through World War II. Deals with black American contributions to the Revolutionary War, black inventors, early black politicians, Black Seminoles, and others aspects of black history. Byron Johnson Papers
The Johnson Papers contain family photographs and early pictures of Johnson as a football and baseball player. Also, included is an Army portrait. Newspaper clippings and baseball statistics also appear. Most of this material is in the form of photocopies.
CAM Productions Records
Includes 1/2-hour videocassettes (VHS 1/2") of a television show called "The CAM Hour." The episodes aired between 1987 and 1999. Contain performances of gospel music, including two years of the Juneteenth Gospel Music Fest and two years of the Colorado Gospel Academy and Hall of Fame; dance performances and interviews with famous local African Americans; footage of conferences and awards ceremonies; and dramatizations.
Carolyn Jones Medine Papers
Relates mostly to Odyssey West Magazine; material includes photographic files, award certificates and plaques, and publications of Odyssey West. Photograph files consist of many figures throughout the African American community, both at the national and local level. In addition, includes information (publications, art, and covers) that pertains to Odyssey, Afro-Denver, Afro Colorado, and Colorado Lifestyle - - publications for which Jones played a role.

Included is a program from World Famous Williams Jubilee Singers (1912); "Easter Gems for Church and School" (1895). Churches include Campbell Chapel A.M.E.
