Content Description Collection contains a leather notebook belonging to Bessie M. Hillett with handwritten notes from a home economics course (circa 1905). The notebook documents the various labs takens by Hillett related to cooking, cleaning, nutrition, chemistry, and butchery. Several recipes are present as well as hand-drawn sheep, cattle, and pig butchery diagrams.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The Bishop John F. Spalding (1828-1894) and Lavinia Spalding (1840-1929) Papers span the years 1878-1935. Material includes correspondence, manuscripts and scrapbooks. John Spalding was the first Bishop of Colorado and 104th in succession in the American episcopate. He and his wife founded St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
