Biographical / Historical
Flaherty grandmother, Anna Raider, came to Colorado in a wagon train in 1864. They settled in Canon City, Colo. Leonard Gardner's family came to Colorado because of their health; all had tuberculosis. They homesteaded on Tallahassee Creek in Fremont County, Colorado.
