Biographical / Historical
Joseph Schick moved to Denver around 1910. He purchased a farm near Keenesburg, Colorado where he had a dairy operation. A railroad buff, he loved to travel by train, but was unable to take more than a day or two off at a time. He started photographing trains in the 1930's and sold and traded pictures and postcards with other railroad buffs, these are the core of his collection. He was married to Dorothy Schick.
