Biographical / Historical

Albert Chaplin (B. May 1830, Virgil, Cortland County, N.Y.); married Eliza J. Robinson (1834-1918) on January 21, 1852 in Rome, Iowa; arrived in Denver in 1859. Worked as a farmer, blacksmith and confectioner. Judge for the Court of Common Pleas. Owned land in Highlands and Union Station.
