Views of track and facilities for the Delaware & Hudson Railroad; New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad; New York Central Railroad; Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad; and Lehigh & Hudson River Railroad in New York State and New Jersey. Views of trestles, bridges, rail yards, water tanks, rail sidings, railroad stations, tipples, and rolling stock. Images of towns and businesses along the railroad right-of-way; views of businesses that used the railroads such as manufacturing plants, a variety of companies: lumber yards, dairies, feed stores, coal and coke companies, and oil companies. Images of apartment buildings, towns, commercial facilities, silos, and automobiles.
