Manning C. Hollowel letters
Scope and Contents
Collection contains 22 handwritten letters from New Mexico Territory (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Fort Thorn) written between 1856 and 1860. The letters are mainly written by Manning C. Hollowell to his brother Daniel Hollowell in Frankford, Pennsylvania. Includes a hand-drawn map of Albuquerque and mention of Kit Carson and Brigham Young. Collection also available on microfilm (C MSS Mflm191).
