Collection contains the transcripts of an interview with MacCracken. He discusses growing up on a homestead near Estes Park, Colo during the early 1900s; copy of newspaper clipping describing 1912 Estes Park log cabin (April 1956).

Biographical / Historical
Richard Thompson MacCracken was born in Washington, D.C. on September 2, 1893. He grew up in Estes Park, Colo. and later worked as a Forest Ranger for the National Park Service. Died in Estes Park in April 1966.
