Biographical / Historical

Herbert Clark Hoover (August 10, 1874 - October 20, 1964) was an American engineer, businessman, and politician who served as the 31st President of the United States from 1929 to 1933 during the Great Depression. Ralph Lawrence Carr (December 11, 1887 - September 22, 1950) was the 29th Governor of Colorado from 1939 to 1943.
