Charles Rowland Dudley was a Denver, Colo. librarian. Born June 26, 1853 Easton, Conn. Yale graduate 1877. Moved to Denver 1882. Appointed librarian Mercantile Library of the Chamber of Commerce Dec. 29, 1885. Head of Denver Public Library 1899-1911. Member Board of Regents Univ. of Colo. for many years. Died Feb. 21, 1921 Washington, D.C.
