Biographical / Historical

John Sanderson Dalziel was the son of British portrait and landscape painter, Robert Dalziel (1810-1842). Born September 24, 1839 in England, he was an American wood engraver who lived in Denver, Colo. Dalziel died on August 19, 1937 and is buried with his wife, Jane Elizabeth Dalziel (1840-1946), in Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, Boulder County, Colo.
