Collection contains a handwritten memoir: Early History of Mining on the Blue River and Vicinity; details Poznansky's experiences gold and silver mining near Breckenridge, Colo. (1859-1864); photocopy of memoir transcription by Ester L. Hallen, relative of Poznansky.

Biographical / Historical
Felix Poznansky was born in Wloclawek, Poland in 1830. He was an early Colo. miner. Died in Rapid City, S.D. on July 1, 1907.
