Biographical / Historical
David Boyd (1833-1908) was a Colorado State Senator 1893-1897 from the 7th District (representing Greeley and Weld County); elected as a Populist. Jesse Hawes (1843-1901), Greeley physician; for several years a regent of the State Normal School (established 1889, opened 1890).
