Harold Hathaway Dunham was a historian. Born Sept. 1, 1903 in Dayton, Ohio. Degrees from Swarthmore (1926) and Columbia (1929, 1941). Professor at University of Denver specializing in history of the U.S. Southwest (1946-1971). Also acted as consultant for U.S. Indian Claims Commission. Died Aug. 13, 1971 in Denver, Colo.Historian. B. Sept. 1, 1903 Dayton, Ohio. Degrees from Swarthmore (1926) and Columbia (1929, 1941). Professor at University of Denver 1946-1971 specializing in history of the U.S. Southwest. Also acted as consultant for U.S. Indian Claims Commission. D. Aug. 13, 1971 Denver.
