Biographical / Historical
The Abli brothers were Italian immigrants from Grimaldi in Cosenza Italy. Original surname: Albo was changed when the first son came to America in 1906.. The five brothers where the children of Giuseppe Albo (1869-1947) and Assunta Negri ( -1931). They lived together and helped each other survive. Educated in the U.S., they were successful business and one becamse a doctor. The five brothers and their arrival dates in the United Stater were: 1. Charles (Pasquale), 1906; 2. Ralph, 1912; 3. Frank Sam (Francesco Salvatore), 1915; 4. Salatore Natale, 1920; and 5. Michael (Bruno Michele Angelo), 1920.
