Scope and Contents
Collection contains a minute book of the municipality's elected governing board. The Board of Selectmen consisted of the Police Judge (chief executive officer of Georgetown) and two selectmen from each ward. Collection also available on microfilm (C MSS Mflm 113).

Biographical / Historical
Georgetown is the county seat for Clear Creek County, Colorado. Town was founded as a mining camp in 1859; later Incorporated on January 10, 1868.
