Includes the manuscript and draft of "Ordinary Heroes: Six Stars in the Window" by Dan Oja. The manuscript deals with six brothers who all served in World War II, including John L. Koski (1925-1945), who served with Company F, 85th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division.

Biographical / Historical

Daniel Arthur Oja (1956 -) was born in Ishpeming, Michigan. He attended Ishpeming High School and Northern Michigan University. Oja is the son of Edna Mae Koski Oja, sister of John Leslie Koski, whose story forms a portion of the Ordinary Heroes manuscript. Dan Oja and his wife June have written a number of college computer textbooks and educational software.
