Biographical / Historical
Bernard J. Pustz was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 18, 1924. He joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. and later served at Camp Swift, Tex. Pustz was a member of Battery B, 604th Field Artillery Battalion. During combat operations in Italy, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions near LeBorre in March 1945.
