Biographical / Historical

Located in east Denver within the boundaries of Mississippi Avenue (north), Evans Avenue (south), Holly Street (east) and Colorado Boulevard (west), the Virginia Village/Ellis Community Association is an organization set up to promote the welfare of the residents living in the area. The association is devoted to preserving the quality of life necessary to its residents, its churches, and helps in promoting the interests of local businesses. The Virginia Village/Ellis Community Association is one of a number of "Registered Neighborhood Organizations" recognized by the city of Denver.

The Virginia Village Community Association is a democratic organization, holding open, public regular monthly meetings at the Virginia Village Library Branch, on the second Wednesday of each month.
