Biographical / Historical

Sam T. Thomas was born in Magnolia, Ark. in January 1926. He was stationed at Camp Swift, Tex. and served with Company I of the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division during combat operations in Italy. Thomas attained the rank of Private First Class.
