Biographical / Historical
George C. Lyman either established or worked for various companies such as the Marshall Consolidated Coal Mining Company, and the Geo. C. Lyman and CO., in Denver and Pueblo from the early 1870's until about 1892. After that time, he moved back to New York City where his wife and children had been residing since the early 1880's. George C. Lyman had two daughters: May and Louise Lyman. The family appears to have traveled extensively throughout the time period and there is correspondence sent from both Europe and Canada.
