Biographical / Historical

Born Chicago, Ill., moved ot Denver, Colo. at a young age. Attended Denve Public Schools, Univ. of Colo. (B.A., M.A.). Married to former Colo. State Senator, Paul Sandoval. She was a member of the Colo. Senate, 34th disctrict (2003-2010), currently member of Denver City Council from the 1st district (2010- ).
