Biographical / Historical
Francis Marion Bishop was in the Union Army during Civil War. Wounded at Fredericksburg 1862. Transferred to Veterans Reserve Corps and served at Rock Island Military Prison. After the war, was topographer with J.W. Powell on 2nd Colorado River expedition.
