Biographical / Historical

James Alexander Davidson served as the Chaffee County Representative to the Colorado Legislature. At his request, his daughter: Evangeline Heartz Davidson (b. April 1902) was given her name by the Legislature in 1902. She was named after the first woman legislator, who also attended the session. The Davidson's had two other children: Robert Vincent (b.April 19, 1899) and George Alexander (b.August 15, 1904)
