Biographical / Historical

Association of Colorado black women organized 1904 in Colorado Springs for communication and mutual helpfulness in the promotion of interracial understanding, women's rights, and better social and moral conditions. Affiliated with National Association of Colored Women's Clubs (organized 1896 Washington, D.C.).
