Biographical / Historical

John H. Weaver, Jr. was born on April 23, 1920. He joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Swift, Tex., where he was assigned to Headquarters Company of the Medical Battalion. Weaver was transferred to Italy and during combat operations at the Apennine Mountains and Po Valley campaigns, was awarded at Bronze Star medal in the spring of 1945. He attained the rank of Captain.
