Scrapbooks contain clippings of club activities along with pictures and articles of general interest to cat fanciers. Compiled by historian June Davidson, they include her ms. notes about club history, meetings, and officers. Inserted are issues of the club's newsletter: Colorado cat's meow (v. 1, no. 1, Apr. 1, 1951).

First state cat club in Colorado. Organized 1947 with headquarters in Denver. Purpose to promote interest in cats, improve their standards, and sponsor annual championship shows. Affiliated with Cat Fanciers Association of America.
