Biographical / Historical

Robert W. Parker was born in Evanston, Ill. on July 9, 1922 and joined the 10th Mountain Division in 1942 where he was assigned to the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment. He participated in the Kiska Island invasion and during combat operations in Italy. Parker received two Bronze Star medals for his actions at Castel Franco on April 21, 1945 and at the Po Valley campaign, April 21-28, 1945.
