Views of mining facilities in Gilpin County Colorado, including American Mining Company, Mascot Mine, Lomax claim, Ben Davis claim, Manchester Mine, and Bonnie Belle Mine. Locations include Apex, American City, Myrtlehurst, Mammoth Gulch, Kelleyville, Fremont Pass, and Echo Lake. Subjects include log cabins and other buildings, construction, offices, interiors, miners, mining equipment, skiing, men, women, children, dogs, snow and ice. Named individuals include Carter, Cheesewright, Newton, Britton, Welch, Bellows, Herman, E.H. Purdy, Charles S. Ripley, McTierney, Dan McDade, Buchanan, Judge Knaebel, George Schneider, and Emanuel Jack Adams.
