Biographical / Historical

Nonprofit organization founded on March 29, 1996. Society works to educate Colo. businesses and residents on the benefits of renewable energy and related technologies. CRES releases renewable energy publications, organizes topical workshops, provides information on renewable energy policy, holds annual conferences and sustainable home tours, and recognizes building designers, architects, builders, and homeowners through their annual Colorado Renewable Energy in Buildings Awards.
