Biographical / Historical

James N. Bray was born in St. Paul, Minn. on September 8, 1925. With the 10th Mountain Division, he was a member of Company K of the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment. During combat operations in Italy, Bray was wounded in action at Cosa Costa and received a Bronze Star medal for his actions at Mount Croce on April 15, 1945. He also received a personal citation from Division Commander, General George P. Hays.
