Biographical / Historical

Robert S. Goyer was born in Ind. on October 7, 1923. He enlisted in the Army Reserves in May 1943 and was assigned to a specialized training program and did his basic training in Texas. Later Goyer was accepted into Officer's Training School and joined the 10th Mountain Division in Italy. He was assigned to Company H of the 86th Infantry Regiment and attained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
