Scope and Contents
Collection contains magazine clippings; color slides and photographs that document various special events throughout the Denver-metro area and other locations along the front range: Scottish and Irish festivals, Veterans Day (1991), St. Patrick's Day (1994), Greek Festival (1996-1997), Cherry Blossom Festival (1991), People's Fair (1992, 1997), Pow Wow (1991, 1992, 1996), Buskerfest (1997), Cinco de Mayo Parade (1998), Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Winter Ski Train (1999), Denver Zoo, Super Bowl Rally (1999), Indian Market (2001), Democratic Political Rally (1988), Women's March on Denver (2017-2019). All photographic images have been identified.

Biographical / Historical
Stan Obert is a freelance and contract photographer who worked for visitdenver.org (1997-2009). Graduate of University of Colo. at Colorado Springs (BA 1976). Many of his photographs have been published in the Official Denver Visitor's Guide and other regional magazines.
