Biographical / Historical
August Louise Pierce born May 29, 1833 in Augusta, Maine. Married Horace Tabor (1830-1899) in 1857. Moved to Manhattan Kansas. (1857), then Denver in Kansas Territory (1859), later located to Leadville, Colorado. (1877). Augusta and Horace Tabor were divorced on January 1883, so that Horace Tabor could marry Elizabeth "Baby Doe" McCourt (1854-1935). Augusta Tabor died in Pasadena, California. on January 30, 1895.
