Biographical / Historical

Denver Colo. based AIDS nurse and activist born January 12, 1949 in LaPorte, Ind. Attended Univ. of Ill. where active in civil rights and anti-war movement. Moved to Denver, Colo. in 1972. Received BSN in Nursing (1978) from Univ. of Colo. Close friend and influenced by Henry "Harry" Hay (1912-2002), one of the founders of the modern gay movement, including the Radical Faeries.
