Biographical / Historical

Curtis Leslie Pfaff was born on December 16, 1922 in Deer River, N.Y. and enlisted in the Army on November 12, 1942 at Albany, N.Y. He joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to Head Quarters Company of the 86th Infantry Regiment. Pfaff transferred out of the 10th Mountain Division to the 217th Signal Depot Battalion and served in the Pacific Theatre for the rest of WWii. He died in Hackettstown, N.J. on April 3, 2005.
