Scope and Contents
Collection contains 19 interviews recorded on cassette tape documenting the lives of individuals living in neighborhoods of Northwest Denver, Colo. during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Two cassette tapes contain a Tom Noel talk on the streetcars of Denver (1981) and Elmer Muth slide presentation (1981). Additional files document the organization: transcripts, correspondence, articles of incorporation, clippings, interview materials, forms.

Biographical / Historical
Northwest Denver Oral History Group was a non-profit organization founded in around 1976. The group was made up of local residents interested in collecting information on the history of Northwest Denver from older members of the community. Approximately 19 oral histories were conducted by the group between 1978-1984.
