Biographical / Historical

Irene Clurman was born on March 2, 1947 in San Francisco, Calif. She was the visual art and dance critic for the Rocky Mountain News, Denver, Colo. (1973-1987). Clurman was also instrumental in founding the Denver Film Festival in 1979 with Peter Warren, Ph.D., Professor of Mathematics at the University of Denver.
