Biographical / Historical

The American G.I. Forum (AGIF) is a Congressionally chartered Hispanic veterans and civil rights organization. Established on March 26, 1948 by Dr. Hector P. Garcia in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Tex., the Denver, Colo. based Mile Hi Chapter was organized and constitutionally chartered as an affiliate member in 1965.
