Forbes Parkhill papers
Scope and Contents
Collection contains Parkhill correspondence with Denver Public Library, autobiographical sketch of Parkhill and bibliography of his writings (1921-1931); two letters from Washington, D.C. (1949), written when Parkhill was research assistant to Colorado Senator Eugene Millikin, regarding theTabor Grand Opera House curtain and its artist Robert Hopkin.

Biographical / Historical
Forbes Parkhill was a newspaperman and author. Wrote stories of Denver (Colo.) history and the West. Worked as a reporter for the Denver Post, Denver Republican, Denver Time and Rocky Mountain News in Denver (Colo.). Also worked for newspapers in El Paso (Texas), and New York. Five of his stories were made into motion pictures.
