Biographical / Historical

George H. Rosenfield was born on October 16, 1925 in Boston, Mass. and enlisted in the Army in December 27, 1943 at Boston, Mass. At the time of his enlistment, he was unmarried and had completed grammar school. Rosenfeld joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to Company E, 2nd Battalion, 85th Infantry Regiment. He also served at Camp Swift, Tex. and in Italy and attained the rank of Private First Class.
