Scope and Contents

Collection contains color photographs of movie theaters, drive-in theaters, signs, marguees, and shopping malls from the Denver, Colo. metropolitan area. Approximately 75 of the color photographs were included in the exhibition: Denver's Movie Theaters of the Twentieth Century; January 25-March 31, 2017 held in the Department of Western History and Genealogy, Denver Public Library; 20 color ink jet posters/prints used in the exhibition; additional 40 photographs of theaters not represented in the exhibition.
