Passmore and his role in the Breckenridge Methodist Church and the town itself.
The collection also contains other works written by Fiester. These works include the Christmas Pageant, the sermon for a 4th of July Old Fashioned Worship, and manuscripts for One Solitary Life

These materials are arranged according to the chapter titles in Look For Me In Heaven. This subseries was left in its original order as it was organized by the author, Fiester.
Genealogy and general reference materials consist of the general research completed while writing the book. This material includes genealogical items, general reference materials (historical data, materials on the Methodist Church, and the murder of Father Dyer's son), and information on the publishing of Look For Me In Heaven. The subseries is organized first by the genealogy of Father Dyer, then reference materials, and, finally, publishing information.
The third subseries consists of the original manuscript of Look For Me In Heaven. Several different drafts of the manuscript are included. These drafts contain editing notes and changes.
The material pertaining to Fiester's text Blasted, Beloved Breckenridge has been broken down into two subseries: reference materials and manuscripts. The first subseries, reference materials, consists of notes and articles on Breckenridge, saloon and gambling legislation, and Reverend Florida F. Passmore, gathered by Fiester. The second subseries, manuscripts, consists of rough and revised drafts of Dynamiting the Church Bell (Chapter 18) and the final manuscript, with one prior copy, complete with editing remarks and changes.
The material in this series pertaining to the Christmas Pageant includes the manuscripts, scripts, notes, and a scrapbook tracing the performance of the Christmas Pageant through the years. BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
On June 12, 1907, Reverend Mark Fiester was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He grew up there and eventually graduated from the Williamsport Dickinson Seminary. He continued his education at Albright College and the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Naperville, Illinois. Reverend Fiester married Roberta Dexheimer on June 12, 1937 and moved to New Jersey to accept a pastorate. He and his family remained there until 1948, at which time they moved to Colorado.
From 1948 to 1964 Fiester worked at several pastorates in Colorado, including Ordway and Denver. He believed strongly in the idea that worship was enhanced by dramatic interpretation. Thus Fiester produced the Garden of Resurrection and the Pageant of Christmas, both of which became a tradition for many years in the Denver Community.
In 1965, Fiester became pastor of the Father Dyer United Methodist Church in Breckenridge. Upon his retirement in 1972, Fiester became the Pastor Emeritus and historian of the Father Dyer Church. Once retired, he conducted research on John Lewis Dyer and the city of Breckenridge. Thus in 1973, he published Blasted Beloved Breckenridge; in 1980, Look For Me In Heaven was published. Reverend Mark Fiester passed away on March 24, 1996.
