Grace Kelly Letter
Content Description
The collection contains a letter from Grace Kelly to Rose Sudmeier on August 27, 1951, thanking the Sudmeier family for hosting Kelly while she was a resident member of the Elitch Theatre during the summer of 1951. It also discusses Kelly's move to Hollywood, California, to shoot the film High Noon. Also included is a January 27, 1981, letter from Whitfield Connor of The Elitch Theatre Company to Dave Morr regarding Kelly's work at the Elitch Theatre. The year of Kelly's Elitch Theatre tenure noted by Connor in the letter is inaccurate.
