Biographical / Historical

Environment 2000 is a nonprofit nonpartisan volunteer educational forum based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and sponsored by the Steamboat Learning Center. The organization strives to provide information and plans of action about local, regional, and international environmental issues. The group hosts an annual conference featuring speakers from the physical and social sciences and humanities. The conference also includes workshops on land conservation and historic preservation.
