Biographical / Historical

The César Chávez Leadership Hall of Fame Award is presented annually by the Denver Public Library to a Coloradan of Latino descent who has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to social justice and has made a significant positive impact on their community through community organizing, direct service, and/or advocacy and public policy. The award is one of three of the Denver Public Library Latino Community Service Awards that also include: The Lena L. Archuleta Community Service Award and Eric J. Duran Community Service Award.
